Hello everybody! I am using vSphere ESXi 4.1 and I am trying to understand if it is possible to change the names of the files that are stored on the datastore. Sometimes the names of the virtual machines are changing and it is difficult to understand what virtual machines are which ones exactly. And sometimes their is a nessesity to release some space in the datastore and it is a dire task to understand which hard disk you can erase from the datastore. If I am trying to rename files directly in the datastore than the VM it doesn't work. How it can be done anyway? Hope it was possible to understand what I meant.
