Hello Everyone,
I'm new with Vmware ESXI, but i wanna start learning how it works so i got myself a Hp Proliant DL380P gen 8 with 2x Xeon E5-2665 and 96Gb of Ram, i precise that when i receive the machine i tried it under windows server 2016 (baremetal), did some stress test, it was working perfectly fine and stable. So i installed the HP ESXI6.7 image (i know it's not supported but i tried the 6.5 hp image too, i had exactly the same issue so i assume the issue is somewhere else), the issue is that the whole system is totally not stable, esxi will never crash, but the vm will after 5sec, 20 sec , sometimes 1 mins or even sometimes they won't even start and either turn themself off directly or give me a black screen and it never boot, when those vm will crash (if they booted) they will start using lots of ram or cpu attributed to them and stay like that unstill i force them off. I was at first having latency issue on the disk, after roling back the driver to an older version found on the hp website, the latency problem isn't here anymore, but my main issue still here. I precise that i'm running the last BIOS for this server. I'm sometimes able to start some 1 vm as long as i start it on BIOS and not EFI (efi just give me black screen and nothing else). I can start a linux vm, and it will stay stable, but as soon as i will start another one (VSCA for exemple) or start a windows server instance, they will all freeze (windows will give me blue screen, and VCSA will just freeze on whatever step it is and the one that was already on will become unresponsive). I tried lots of stuff already and i still have those vm hanging issue. I precise that ESXI is installed on a Samsung 840 pro ssd 128gb (it's the datastore too), and that i have 7 HDD plugged into the server and the P420i is in HBA mode. I'll join the log of the VCSA instance that crash randomly, along with the one the two windows server i have been trying to boot. I will also put the vmkernel log but this one is kinda flooded with drivers error from my network card, it's not the issue as i tried to switch to another network card, and the issue was still there and those error were not showing in the logs anymore ( i don't keep the other network card because since it's not an hp one it makes the fan run at 70% and with this one they only run at 6%).
Anyway if there is anyone here who knows where to look in the logs and that could put me in a direction to solve this issue, i would be really gratefull.
Thanks a lot
