Failed to expand VMFS datastore datastore1 - Cannot change the host configuration

I had a 1.2T Raid 10 array.  I added 4 disks and expanded it to 2.4T.

I then went into the VSphear ESXi 6.5 web client and went to datastore1 > Increase Size

I chose expand VMFS then on the next page chose the disk.

In the next page I selected the partition and expanded it.  Everything looked great.

I hit finish and I get this error:

Failed to expand VMFS datastore datastore1 - Cannot change the host configuration

I've googled it to no avail and the error isn't giving me anything to work off of.

Can anyone please offer some suggestions?  All I want to do is increase my datastore to the new disk size!
