ESXi 6.5 host goes out of network after NIC driver and firmware upgrade

I am upgrading bnx2x driver and firmware to versions 2.713.30.v60.5 and FFV10.00.15 bc 7.14.5 respectively. The host's management vmkernel is part of vDS.

After driver and firmware upgrade, the host boots up. However, it goes out of network.

Server - DELL PE M630

I have tried this upgrade on three hosts and all of them had the same issue. I had to reconfigure the management network for them. I tested the third host by moving management vmkernel to port group whose port binding is ephemeral but still I am having the same issue.

Any help would be appreciated.
